Costa Rica flag was adopted on september 29, 1848. The flag designed by fights with the french since the french controlled them. The colors of the flag is blue,white, and red stripes, with the three volcanoes. The blue stands for the sky, the red stands for the bloodshed from the french, and the white stands for happiness.
