The founding father of Costa Rica, you'll know him, he is Christopher Columbus. He sailed there September 18, 1502, on his third and last trip to the Americas. When he found the great country of Costa Rica, even thought there were people there. The people gave him great things so he goes back and tell about the place. Then they made a colonin thats the founding father.
